Busy, Busy

Let me just start by telling you guys it’s been tough to keep up as long as I have. I’m trying my hardest, but this time I had reason to miss a few posts. I screwed up the install of Clickheat (a cool little add-on that lets you see exactly where users click on your site). Some of you may have noticed the error on the top of the page (and I noticed the fact that I messed up my functions.php file so bad I couldn’t even log into the admin page). But anyway, it all seems to be good now. I fixed the file over FTP, and we’re running again. In the meantime, I updated to the latest version of WordPress, as well as some other smaller plugin updates.

But speaking of plugins, I realized I never formally introduced the new Categories system. As you probably can tell, all of my posts are categorized, and as such, the list of categories became pretty long. While searching for a new way to present my categories, I found WP-Cumulus, which puts all of them in a 3-dimensional sphere. I’d like to hear what you think of it (in the comments on this post), because I haven’t fully decided whether to keep it or not yet.

Finally, I have one last proposal. Over the last few days I’ve been messing with my iPod touch a lot (exploring the immense amount of applications available for the most part), and came up with an idea. I was thinking I could possibly do a Sunday iPhone/iPod App Review as a departure from my normal all-Mac schedule. I may or may not try that this weekend, you’ll just have to wait and see. But, if you have any ideas, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Thanks for your patience, and you’ll hear back from me soon. As a matter of fact, I’m searching for some Turkey Day freeware as we speak!

I’m loving the cumulus…looks great, and is easy to use.

And more mac stuff!! I’m loving the great work you do in finding good stuff.

I love the 3D tag cloud! Pretty and functional; what more could one want? I also like the idea of the iPhone/touch App Review because I have a touch and not a Mac. (We can thank my Windows father for that. Grr.)
